excited Ok, due to a very generous gesture on my part to change the prgretchin's visitation to align with a past bf's own visitation schedule - I seriously screwed myself out of my annual New Orleans trip (i.e. I now am scheduled to have the prgretchin Halloween weekend). Can we say HUGE sacrefice on my part?
Regardless, news has come to me that there might be a very large chance that the XH may change visitation weekends with me anyway, giving me Halloween weekend alone again, so that he and his wife may go on a litte trip to Vegas together the weekend before. You know what I have to say about *that* particular development? VIVA LAS VEGAS!!! **big grin**
Sorry, the trip to NERE is officially now a wash (even though I have the visitation rescheduling opportunity to do it). When it comes to choices of fund expenditure, the New Orleans trip beats a Cam event any day of the year.
Of course, the news is still not final - so I can't get my hopes up too much... but here's to hoping! :) :) :)

At the time the change was made...
...he was a current BF. However, his BF status didn't last long into this year. Actually, all told, the arrangement didn't work as touted. Instead of having more time together we had less; he was a realtor and wasn't doing well so he had to start working the weekends he didn't have his child - you know, the same weekends I had switched out to spend more time with him. It ended with him dumping me last March so he could spend more time working without his guilt for ignoring me so.Lesson learned: I won't do that again!
PS - This is the same Xbf that refused to talk to me anymore after he read in my LJ that I was going up to visit you last May. I think at that point it was kind of late to be jealous, eh?
